They weave their own mattress fabric in house on their own weaving looms, creating a breathable FR chemical treatment free sleeping surface. They are committed to a FR chemical free, foam free and glue free future.
Sustainability
World leaders in sustainable manufacturing. Circular by design, all mattresses are 100% recyclable and zero to landfill. Harrison Spinks have been recognised with not one but two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in Sustainable Development and are also proud to have been awarded a Carbon Neutral+ accreditation.
Home Grown
Harrison Spinks beds don’t start life in a factory but on their 300 acre farm in North Yorkshire. It is here that they rear sheep on rich untreated pastures and tend fertile fields of hemp and flax crops, these crops produce super-absorbent fibres for their mattresses.
They have also partnered with British wool on their Traceable Wool Scheme to ensure all the wool they use is from traceable British farms and is ethically sourced.
Handcrafted
Each bed is handmade to order and tailored to each individual customer. Their skilled craftsman and women use traditional bed making techniques to hand sew, side-stitch and tuft every mattress, resulting in beautiful beds that are of the highest quality.
